Public Note:
taste bitter, pores not only weakly staining, and only with time. KOH and NH4OH no reaction. Pores pink, cap dark brown velvety, stem dark purple velvety. This perhaps 1 rather than 2? Yes - confirmed by sequence. #2 has consistently dark stem and excavated around pores, #1 has at least some plae area on stem at to or base, and adnate pores, often paler in colouration - chocolate rather than purple brown, but not always. Spores here length=12.1–14.2µm (µ=13.0, σ=0.68), width=4.2–5.2µm (µ=4.8, σ=0.27), Q=2.5–3.0µm (µ=2.73, σ=0.16), n=20
