Hairs unbranched (theoretically Henningsomyces not Rectpilus but is latter), torulose (not fasciculatus - type of Rectipilus), not dextrinoid (not idahoensis group), no stroma, length of tubes 0.6mm (but dried), spores length=3.5-4.4µm (µ=3.9, σ=0.31), width=2.7-3.4µm (µ=3.1, σ=0.18), Q=1.2-1.4µm (µ=1.28, σ=0.08), n=10 = R. natalensis, new record for NZ, but note that Cunningham described his rectipilus with torulose hairs so his concept is not the same as Agerer and may include both R. natelensis and another species - see PDD 79856
