Public Note:
Peridioles to 1.8mm. Wall consisting of two layers. Peridiole with silvery coating. Cups with coarse spreading hairs. Not plicate. Spores way too big for pallidus. length=16.5-18.2µm (µ=17.2, σ=0.5), width=9.2-11.1µm (µ=10.3, σ=0.5), Q=1.5-1.9µm (µ=1.7, σ=0.1), n=10. Notice that collections labelled crassimurus and triplex come out together in trees. The very thick walled spores of this collection are closer to that than triplex. Is the double peridium wall a good character? Looks like there are to many names for the taxa in this group. This probably in the striatum group.
