Specimen notes
Public Note:
Pat notes that host could be Leptospermum. SV-ve. With a few refractive macrocystidia but not clear and not obvious on gill edge. The cap shows oleiferous hyphae of griseoviridis, the areolate patches seem to have thick-walled sphaerocysts. This is not compatible with type of vinaceocuticulata. There's no spore print and the spores are quite variable on this young single fruitbody - don't trust ornamentation or size. Spores length=6.1-7.7µm (µ=6.8, σ=0.4), width=4.8-6.4µm (µ=5.7, σ=0.5), Q=1.1-1.3µm (µ=1.20, σ=0.05), n=20, ornamentation to 0.8um.
