Det History:
For some reason when completing the ICMP sheet for this specimen I used the name Hypocrea ascoboloides. Joan Dingley redetermined several specimens she originally identified as H. tawa as H. ascoboloides Going back to Joan's culture book and the PDD packet for her dried specimen (same collecting details, but no explicit mention of culture number 583), there is no suggestion of a redetermination. I have corrected the CIS record to H. tawa.
