Note:
Sequences of this strain were used by Freng et al in their study of Agrocybe chaxingu and related species. However authentic C. parasitica is probably given by PDD 95998 (JQ694119) which is topotype material from the exact location and host tree as Stevenson's original collection. C. parasitica is an earlier name for C. chaxingu. The species here is related, but different.
