Herbarium history:
Ex Herb. Hort. Bot. Reg. Kew. Flower, Fruits and Foliage of Dracophyllum Traversii, Hk.f. Middle Island, New Zealand W. Locke Travers Esq. & Dr. Haast.
Type:
One of the two pieces of this mixed collection is likely to be an ISOTYPE of Dracophyllum traversii Hook.f., Handb. New Zealand Fl.: 736 (1867).
Glenny D, 15 June 2005
Supplementary remarks:
Dracophyllum traversii Hook.f. The label suggests the material was taken partly from the holotype and partly from a Haast specimen. Comparison with the holotype may establish which piece is the isotype.
