Supplementary remarks:
Extract from letter of J.F.Findlay of 11.11.55 Some further puzzling Gnaphaliums. Specimen A was collected on 5.11.55 a little to the east of the main saddle of the Puketoi range on the Makuri-Pongaroa road. Specimen B was collected also on 5.11.55 on the eastward side of a road-saddle on the Horoeka-Coonoor road over the Puketois. This place is approximately twelve miles north of the collection site for specimen A. I think B (Bd 97226) is only a larger leafed form of A (97225). These small Gnaphaliums with solitary terminal heads bloom about six weeks later than the more conspicuous G.Lyalli and G. subrigidum.
J.F. Findlay, 11.11.55
