Habitat:
Grassland and scrub of valley side.
Notes:
Same species as CHR 75617, CHR 73725. CHR 73726. Older and younger plants from the same spot. Note larger cauline leaves of older plant. Supplementary Label: Flowers 1.5cm diameter, white or pale mauve with numerous red-purple veins showing inside and out. Stamens black, stigma green. Leaves and stems of older plants reddish to purplish when fresh, of young plants pale green. Very common on the Cobb Ridge and in Cobb Valley. Not seen on Mount Peel or Tableland or Mount Arthur. Species apparently of grassland 610m - 914m. Flowers from December to April at least - longer than other species.
