Determiner Note: Very small seedling, vegetative only. I agree with the note by collector that this is probably a seedling of O. crosbyi based on the leaf characteristics and hairs, and the location, habitat and elevation where it was found.

Habitat:
Steep tussock face nearing bushline with mixture of tussock grass species and celmisias. Woody vegetation is dominated by DRAros with one LOPmen in corner P. Seepages and a seasonal small creek run down through plot, providing microhabitats rich in herbaceous species.
