Habitat:
Dry snow-tussock grassland on an open face nearing a ridgeline with some rocky schist outcrops. CHIrsr and ACIaur are scattered with evident die-back. Exotic herbs are rich and abundant. There is a notable presence of hare in the area. Exposed patches of soil are crusted and brittle/ fragile. Native herbs and prostrate woody vegetation are hidden amongst sward forming exotic species and are especially present in the less disturbed, more sheltered microhabitats between rocks and tussocks.
