Habitat:
Toe of a fan. In red tussockland between the dryland short tussockland (on the fan) and a wetland adjacent to a pond.
Notes:
Craspedia (gg) (CHR 472168; Mararoa). 60 adult plants and 10 juvenile plants. Canopy of Chionochloa rubra var. cuprea 65% cover. Ground cover consists of Pilosella officinarum (c. 50%), exotic grasses 30+% (mainly Agrostis capillaris, with some Festica ovina? and Anthoxanthum odoratum), Hypochaeris radicata (2%).
