In open Nikau/Griselinia scrub along base of hills near sulf-ecposed to some salt spray. Shaded, not sheltered.
S.l. flat. Exposed to West.
Notes:
Fronds drooping, fertile. Rhizome far creeping on Ginselinia?. Stipes and rachis sparsely paleaceous. Not uncommon.
