Notes:
Shrub 2 m. Laxly branched. Leaves 11 - 14 x 4.5 - 6 cm. Elliptic apiculate. Petiole short 3 mm long. Flowers terminal branched cluster 3 cm high to base of flowers. Flowers slender tube 40 x 1.5 - 2 mm. 4 - lobed 10 - 11 x 5 mm. Flowers scarlet red. Stamens 4 stigma exserted. 2 - lobed, lobes curled backwards.
