in an area of dry grassland that is located between very wet areas
Notes:
Craspedia "Mararoa" (Druce 1993); beyond flowering and fruiting, several 100 plants; rosettes of plants that have flowered were shrivelled up, but usually next to them were rosettes without scapes and fresh leaves, probably new rosettes that have come up already; Euchiton polylepis and Craspedia leaves are very similar; scapes 16 - 25 cm, leaves 30 mm long / 30 mm wide to 40 mm long / 40 mm wide.
