Note:
Trunk c. 90 cm tall, c. 20 cm wide. Lamina length 164 cm, width 68 cm. Maximum width 85 cm from lamina apex. Stipe length 75 cm. Lamina shape c. eliptic. Dicksonia sp. [Dicksonia fibrosa x D. lanata] differs from D. fibrosa in having long, orange stipes (rather than short, green), a less developed skirt of dead fronds, wider fronds, and the lamina segments not having acute apices.

Notes:
Dicksonia sp. [Dicksonia fibrosa x D. lanata] about as common as D. fibrosa. Dicksonia lanata subsp. lanata is more common, but localised within groves, while D. squarrosa is also fairly common.
About 40 plants of Dicksonia sp. within 100 m of monitoring plot (see LRP 7476 and 7478). Most (c. 30) between plot and ridge. A few plants more distant (LRP 7480 and 7481), over 0.5 km away.
