Habitat:
kahikatea - Puriri (Podocarp) forest. Sth West side of bush.
Aspect: Along perimeter of bush next to paddock. Shady - late afternoon sun.
Notes:
Slender liane-like climber with twisting stem climbing up Coprosma sp. Leaves linear, up to 11 cm long, opp, mid-green upper, paler underside. New leaves lighter, softer. Flowers small, opening to 1 cm, borne on terminal panicles. Flowers cream, 5-petalled, opening to a star, then curving beneath. Sweetly scented.
