Habitat:
Growing on roadside at the edge of Stringybark/Swampy Gum (eucalypt) open forest adjacent to cleared farmland. Associated taxa: Eucalyptus obliqua, E. ovata, Lomandra longifolia, Pteridium esculentum.
Notes:
Flowers pale; anthers unilateral, to 8 mm long, initially purple; filaments mostly cream-coloured, dilated and white at point of attachment to anther. Few plants seen here (all removed, but numerous small cormlets no doubt remain).
