Notes:
Shrub c. 1 m high, fairly dense habit. Leaf veins and midrib impressed. Flower in cone-like erect inflorescence c. 5 cm long. Bracts deep yellow, to c. 2 x 1.7 cm, broad ovate, keeled, imbricate, erect. Corolla white, c. 5.3 cm to apex of upper lip, curved forwards; lower lip c. 1.5 cm long, broad and 3-lobed. Stamens and style lying just under upper lip; latter long exserted. Anthers green. Fairly common cultigen.
