Notes:
Shrub c. 2 m high. Leaves shining above with whitish midrib. Inflorescence dense. Calyx pale green; teeth minute. Corolla tube 3.5-4 cm long, very slender, pale yellow; limb yellow, its 4 lobes incross-form, patent, each 1.4-1.5 x 0.9-1 cm, rhombic-ovate. Fruit 1-1.3 cm diameter, almost globose but slightly flattened laterally. Pyrene with flat inner face. Fairly common cv. and = var. lutea (Hutch.) Corner.
