Notes:
Stemless herb. Petiole c. 90 cm long, with brown membranous sheath at base, dull green with rather faint purplish transverse bands; lamina c. 55 cm long by c. 25 cm across the sagittate base; purplish-green below except veins, dark shining green above except for pale grey-green bands along midrib and main veins and fine lines of the same colour along main veins. Sterile.
