Habitat:
Alluvial forest. Associated species: Kunzea sp., Sophora sp., Lophomyrtus obcordata. Land use: Scenic Reserve with DOC campsite. Landform: River terrace. Geology: Greywacke dominated river gravels. Only collected from oled "original" trees as reserve has had supplementary planting. Large proportion of trees had Korthalsella salicornioides on them.
