Habitat:
Alluvial river flats on 2 sites on edges of Huatokitoki stream banks; one site on south-facing siding nearby. Grazed understorey. No regeneration - young plants. Unsure of exact number of plants in each area, but few.
Notes:
In 3 areas to be protected with QEII covenants, all planned to be fenced in winter 1998. The Pittosporum obcordatum in the totara paddock was found with mistletoe - Korthalsella lindsayi on it.Also see other sites - NZMS 260: V23 265 080, V23 269 079.
