Notes:
Solitary plant; part of plant heavily chewed by sheep. Habit and leaf shape greatly influenced by browse. (Compare specimen from 200 m SW).
Matches no other known Melicytus species in Nelson region. It is possible that M. flexuosus was once present on nearby frost flats. (i.e. possible parent).
