The only specimen of V. darwiniana I have seen is the one at Kew, which represents Colenso's type. This is a much shorter - relatively broader - leaved plant, with shorter racemes. Armstrong's plant comes under H. glaucophylla Ckn. Using that name for the undefined group to a particular form of which the name was originally applied. It seems well [illegible] this name stand until the group has been analysed.
