Uncommon on cyclone toppled Kermadec pohutukawa (Metrosideros kermadecensis) trees, shattered trunks and branches lying acaross road. Associated with Pseudocyphellaria argyracea (see AK 326675, CHR 616785), P. aurata (see AK 326673, CHR 616794) and a blue-black Pannaria sp. (see AK 326677, CHR 617479 [det. as Leptogium]).
