Cultivated amongst other smaller trees.
Notes:
Immense spreading tree at least 25 cm high with massive trunk. Bark grey, fissured. Young shoots and buds viscid. Petiole reddish above; lamina glossy deep green above except for midrib and main veins, former tinged red; lower surface glaucescent except for prominent vein network. Old catkins on ground, male.
