Low-lying marshy detention pond; dry at this time.
Notes:
Herb forming small clumps amongst other low vegetation, stems erect or nearly so but often supported by grasses etc. Roots not collected. Inflor. branched and terminal; flowers so numerous that leaves hidden and plant clumps appear like white columns. Corolla white; lobes patent, 1-2 mm long, broad ovate, pinkish in bud. Anthers dark reddish. Scattered over this small pond and not seen elsewhere.
