Habitat:
Corticolous on tanekaha (Phyllocladus aff. trichomanoides) and mangeao (Litsea Calicaris) trees in deep shade of a very dense pohutukawa (Metrosideros excelsa) - houpara (Pseudopanax aff. lessonii) - karaka (Corynocarpus laveigatus) forest overlying a steep talus slope.
