Notes:
flower/fruit Gardener at 'Pukeiti' says this is a common 'weed' - originally planted but now troublesome. Leaf hairs with bulbous bases. Rosette leaves shiny above, paler below. Hairs mostly hispid, septate, some bent, mostly patent. Culms decumbent. Flower campanulate, c.15 mm diam, 10 mm deep, tube = sepals. Corolla pale mauve/blue. 5 anthers with winged appendages at base of each, anthers split longwise, filaments very short, attached inside floral tube. Style rising between 4 nutlets that seem to lack bristles and are unstalked. [See also CHR 591734 A & B]
