Habitat:
Low, mainly herbaceous vegetation by road, fairly exposed.
Notes:
Shrubby succulent plant with stout few-branched stems. Leaves in terminal clusters, each to c. 6.5 x 2.8 cm, ± obovate or obovate-spathulate, light green except for slight reddening of distal margins. Inflor. to c. 18 x 20 cm, somewhat flattened (convex), glabrous (including calyx). Petals (8)-9, pale lemon-yellow, narrow linear, (7-9 x 1.5-2 mm). Stamens subequal to petals, similar colour but ageing to pink like styles and carpels. Styles = stamens. Glands oblong-spathulate, prominent. Apparently spontaneous; fairly common "form" on hillside above. Aeonium arboreum & A. haworthii & A. undulatum in the area.
