Habitat:
Open slope above park with scattered cultivated trees.
Notes:
Shrub or young tree forming a small thicket. Stems erect, to c. 2 m high, deciduous. Young leaves hairy beneath, white tomentose beneath and drooping when very young. A considerable number, probably c. 30 such thickets. No sign of reproductive parts. Cultivated quince elsewhere with flower buds evident.
