Habitat:
Stream bank, around roadside hedge, semi-shade.
Notes:
Creeping herb, stems prostrate or ± decumbent. Leaves thin and ± shining, deep green above. Flowers in small clusters, the longest pedicel c. 1.5 cm long. Sepals green, 8-9 mm long, triangular-lanceolate. Petals 10-12 x 5-6 mm, triangular-ovate or triangular-lanceolate. Stamens white; hairs at base white, subequal to stamens, both a little < sepals. A small patch but others in the area, often with leaves larger than species often has in New Zealand. No sign of seedlings.
