Rock crevices and ledges, often on cliff faces facing ± south.
Notes:
Small mat-forming, succulent herb. Stems erect or ascending, shining red. Leaves 2-6 mm long, narrow elliptic, ± subacute, flattened. Sepals obtuse. Petals 2.5-3 mm long, white, broad obovate, distally rounded, c. 1.5 x sepals. Stamens included. Locally common. Exhibiting a range of plant sizes, incl. flowers, according to degree of exposure to sun and drying out.
