Plants were growing on the roadside and in a river system.

Plant Register ID: 2009/0287This is different to Clematis vitalba which I am used to as there is 7 leaves to a stem (not the usual 5) with the leaf stems acting more like tendrils, some of the leaves are a different shape also. These plants were spread over a number of kilometres, so this is not an isolated plant.

ideally like flowers to confirm. Some leaves with 5 leaflets > leaflets seems to be unusual form.
