Notes:
Succulent rosette-forming plant. Specimens of seedlings of various ages. Mature plant (not coll.) with large rosettes of up to at least 30 cm across. Leaves grey-green or green, velvety to touch because of pubescence of erect small simple hairs on both sides, with margins densely pubescent; ± broad obovate or broad spathulate, thick in lower narrow part. Plants a few metres from planted parent, the latter flowering last year and then almost dying. (species ± monocarpic).
