Habitat:
Shrubbery margin, amongst other shrubs.
Notes:
Shrub c. 2.5 m high ("drawn up" by competing vegetation). Main branches spreading and tending to curve down. Plant deciduous. Lateral branches not distichous but sloping forwards. Young leaves deep shining green above and pale greyish beneath. Corolla pink in bud, white at anthesis. Petals ± patent, including short claw; limb c. 3 x 4 mm, ± suborbicular. Stamens with white filaments and dark purplish anthers. Most likely an old relic of cultivation.
