Notes:
Semi-prostrate herb with long trailing stems, often rooting at nodes. Leaves to 9 x 4 cm, scarcely shining, ± broad elliptic but base amplexicaul and apex acute. Sepals much < petals, c. 5 mm long, green, naviculate. Flowers white; petals 7-9 x 6-8 mm, broadly ovate with base ± cordate. Filaments and filament hairs white. Fruit not formed. The giant form of this species. AK 239080 from Whangaroa, Ota Point Rd has leaves to 14 x 4.5 cm.
