Notes:
Wild plant c. 2.5m tall at bottom of bank among native plantings & weeds (Trandescantia, Maderia vine); open towards the road under a high canopy of planted trees. Specimen covering c. 4 × 6m, stem leaning over. Leaves to 27.5cm long × 3.8 cm across. This species was originally planted at Kari Street nursery >10 years ago, but was removed because ist started spreading by seed; this new site is c. 199m away from the nursery site. The fruit is fleshy & orange - spread by birds? Collection over 2 sheets (AK 331615-16).
