Notes:
Large herb with inflor. c. 2.5 m high. Inflor. of widely spaced dense verticels, each 5-6 mm across and subglobose. Calyx teeth, very irregular. Corolla c. 4 cm long to apex of upper lip; orange; lower lip 8-9 mm long, held at right angles to tube, 3 lobed; tube with 3 raised hairy ridges inside.
