Habitat:
Gaultheria colensoi not common on this part of the trail (more common in grassier area). Very fine soil. Pumice present.

~ 15-20 cm. Dried flowers/Dried capsules in raceme. Leaves linear with macrostigma-like veination. This is a putative hybrid between Gaultheria colensoi and Gautlheria macrostigma.
