Habitat:
house frontage - growing on Pittosporum eugenioides - Lemon Wood, plus a couple of smaller leaved Pitto's. Branch death was obvious above some growths.
Notes:
Plant Register ID: 2007/0252Parasitic type growth on branches, woody brittle stems, small (clusters) green/yellow flowers, small - up to 5 mm - fruit, white & splotched mauve, strong "bitter" smell when cut & bagged.
Specimen notes
Supplementary remarks:
Plants are dioecious (separate males + females),Tupeia is the only NZ mistletoe that has this feature.
