In banked garden on edge of planted shrubbery - common among new plantings of Carices, shrubs.Planted Carex and young Coprosma robusta and other shrubs.
flower/fruitPeduncles & pedicles wih with ± patent hairs; pedicels pink with antrorse hairs as well. Laminae glabrous except margins. Inflorescence with up to 4 yellow flowers. Sepals with sparse antrorse hairs clustered at tip. Capsule with retrorse hairs, becoming patent on capsule angles.
