Notes:
Vegetation Notes: Canopy ca. 2 m with dense understory. Habit: Plant 55.9 cm tall, terrestrial. Gender: staminate. Longest leaves 76.2 cm long x 0.95 cm wide. Keeled along midrib, leaf margins erect rather than spreading at base, spreading ca. 5.1 cm from base. Hyaline margins present. Adaxial surface with fine scales visible, pellicle persistant at apex. Abaxial surface bronze pellicle obscuring leaf surface. Distinct scales appressed on leaf surface with basal wool. Adaxially 1 lateral vein dominant, 2 other subequal veins each side of midvein, abaxially 3x veins visible each side of midvein. Inflorescence inserted within leaves, 27.3 cm long, peduncle 7.62 cm. Bracts present throughout pancicle, long acuminate, bronze on margins and abaxial surface. Rachis hirsute but not densely so with surface remaining visible. Lowest Bract bearing Branched panicle containing 2 racemes. Flowers not densely arranged on raceme, 25 flowers in single raceme 12.07 cm long. Bracteoles present, exserted beyond tepals. Pistillode present but small, some with 3x stigma lobes visible, but not enlarged. Rachis and pedicle with red coloration present as speckles.
