Notes:
Ligule long pointed, white. Leaves long flaccid, curving over, glabrous, not so scabrid, inner tips acicular but soft. Inflorescence large, branchlets long, spreading, ± scabrid, spikelets up to 8 florets. Anthers creamy with pale purple tips, fading white.
