Notes:
Inflorescence more compact, smaller than Poa cita. Glumes and palea whitish in part, on the whole, giving inflorescence a pale appearance. Branchlets glabrous - a few scabrid hairs beneath spikelets. Florets - head close examination, purple tips. Anthers white or pale cream. Leaves basal sheaths, rhizomatous, different to Poa cita. See CHR 588323

Supplementary remarks:
Panicles: 14 x 8 cm open - especially bottom, closed at apex. Short bracts, lowermost drooping. Uppermost leaf just reaching panicle.
