Habitat:
Rock garden, amongst spreading succulents.
Notes:
Erect, bushy, annual, semi-succulent herbs to 30 cm high or more; stems greenish-white; angles 3, red-lined. Leaves dark glossy green above, pale beneath, scarcely succulent. Flowers erect. Sepals 4-5 mm long, elliptic, green except for hyaline margin and orange mainly submarginal glands. Corolla white; tube 2-3 mm long; lobes 7-10 mm long, reflexing oblong. Stamens epipetalous; filaments white, almost narrow triangular, glandular proximally. Capsules globose and shining. A number of plants, regenerating from seed spontaneuosly.
