Forest: Large Metrosideros umbellata/ Prumnopitys ferruginea/ Dacrydium cupressinum forest with subcanopy of Quintinia acutifolia, Weinmannia racemosa and Myrsine salicina. Fairly open understorey with Coprosma, W. racemosa and M. salicina saplings and Blechnum d on face; Aspect: 65 degrees; growing epiphytic.
