spores green 75-90 µm diam.Seta thickened above gradually below the capsules. No praeperistome seen. Outer peristome of pairs of whitish papillose ± broadly triangular teeth & processes very broad, irregular, ± 25 µ wide if of a single row of cells or ca 40 µ broad if of 2 rows - apparently 16.Capsule stomata 10 or 12 in a band in the 2 capsules dissected, in mid capsule.
