Corticolous on a solitary nikau (Rhopalostylis sapida) palm growing within a heavily eaten out forest remnant on the northern side of Waipaua Bay. Growing with Acrolejeunea (AK 303423), Frullania monocera (AK 303424), Cheilolejeunea and Calymperes tenerum (CHR)
